Environment Hamilton: Are you or do you know of a high school student looking for volunteer hours? Environment Hamilton has many opportunities perfect for students. If you would like to help out at Environment Hamilton access their on-line volunteer form. Simply complete the form and submit it to them. They will follow up with you once they receive your completed form.

Hamilton/Burlington Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (HBSPCA): Is very fortunate to have the gift of 300 volunteers giving their time and talent to the animals. Where would you like to give your time and talent?

Hamilton Health Sciences: Volunteer Resources is committed to recruiting and managing quality volunteers. Volunteering at Hamilton Health Sciences involves making a regular commitment. Minimum commitment is 50 hours or 6 months. Intake is based on the number of vacancies, availability and suitability. Volunteering at Hamilton Health Sciences offers stimulating opportunities, heartening involvement and educational experiences. Whether it be through close patient contact or indirect patient care, you will support patients and their families in the “Best Care for All Model” to improve the patient experience.

Hamilton Public Library: There are many options for volunteering at HPL, including those for teens 14-18 years of age, and for adults 19+.

Mission Services: Volunteer opportunities for anyone aged 16 or older. There are lots of ways to get involved as you’ll see from the list of positions below. Whether you’re interested in a regular arrangement or just giving a few hours, Mission Services can always use your help. Most importantly, you’ll be making a real difference in Hamilton.

Ronald McDonald House Charities Hamilton: Volunteers are the heart and soul of Ronald McDonald House Charities Hamilton. They rely on their team of dedicated and committed volunteers who play a valuable role in the day-to-day running of the House, the Ronald McDonald Family Room and caring for the families.

St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton: Volunteers are committed and compassionate individuals who enhance the quality of healthcare provided to patients and their families. Volunteers who offer their time, talent and dedication are a vital part of the SJHH community serving in patient care and clerical settings across three campus locations and surrounding areas.  Volunteers are assisted with choosing a placement that fits their personal goals and personality and may work directly with patients or choose to work in clerical positions throughout the hospital.

Sexual Assault Centre (SACHA): Volunteers play an essential role at SACHA. From answering the 24 Hour Support Line, sitting on centre committees and volunteering at events, last year volunteers contributed over 11 000 hours to the centre.

Volunteer Hamilton: Engages the community through volunteerism, collective leadership, and education. They promote and connect organizations, businesses, and individuals to impact community well-being.
